It’s the beginning of another year and the halfway point for our current homeschool year. January always feels like the time to take stock of our current schedule and curriculum. I like to take a look back at the last year and see what we accomplished. It’s encouraging to see what we’ve done and the progress TJ’s made.
It’s also a good time to find inspiration for the remainder of the homeschool year. I’m not the only one who needs a kick in the pants around January, right? These 20 posts from 2015 are filled with tips, advice, and encouragement for homeschool moms.
I realize that this time of year (that time between Christmas break and Easter) is a difficult time for many homeschool moms – myself included. The lack of sun and warmth and the feeling of being cooped up in the house can start to make me just a little stir crazy. It helps to take short breaks and find ways to revitalize our daily routine – fun audio books, projects, or snow days really help!
I also like to take a little time to remember why we chose this path and find inspiration and motivation to continue the journey – reading my favorite blogs, homeschooling books, and audios always help. If the winter doldrums start to set in, take some time to find some homeschool encouragement for your own homeschooling journey. Maybe these 20 posts from 2015 will help you find some inspiration.
